When AMPT was established, the inaugural programming offered in 2020 was Crisis Management Consulting due to the unprecedented effects of the COVID pandemic. We were quick to recognize that nonprofits were the first to mobilize and support their local community members in moments where there was nowhere else to go. Capacity took on a new definition, and organizations were pivoting to address this new normal.

It was evident, then, that nonprofits are an essential part of our communities, offering resources, information and services to the most vulnerable and often overlooked.

AMPT knew that building capacity needed to be nimble, fluid and responsive.

With that, we have decided to shift our programming to support organizations during this pivotal moment.

We will:

• Reinstate the Crisis Management Consulting Program, providing nonprofits with free consulting hours.

• Push up the AMPT Grant timeline, Giving 5K general operating grants to 40 organizations in Spring 2025

• Restructure the AMPT Up Your Org series to feature critical information on pressing issues including legal, finance and operations

• Partner with ecosystem organizations to provide informational sessions as needed

• Offer opportunities to be in community

Our events announced previously, including the Executive Coaching Cohort, Digital Communications Cohort and AUYO will be postponed.
