He established Velma-Jean Studios (VJS) to build tech, consulting, and media enterprises that generate greater access to and activate capital, capacity, and collaboration in communities. Jeanie, his flagship web and mobile app, is an ecosystem of accountability designed to unlock a radical commitment to our best selves. In the past decade, he’s provided analytics and solutions to the social impact ecosystem, coordinated national college persistence, mentoring, and career readiness initiatives, and supported state-wide awareness campaigns. Although a native of South Central, Los Angeles, Micheal now calls Bronzeville, Chicago home.
