Justice at Work Course

A course for the AMPT community to support its commitment to justice and equity.

Freedom Lifted provides social justice education and support for leaders and organizations. They offer training and consulting for people and groups who seek to grow as leaders committed to racial, gender, and economic justice. Their workshops help leaders build:

  • Shared language and analysis about identity and power. We reflect on and share our identities and experiences in order to recognize how they impact how we show up in relationships, at work, and on the streets. We also determine what it means to hold, build, and share power in the world and in our organizations.

  • Trusting relationships where everyone can honestly share ideas and concerns. This fosters a healthy feedback culture and willingness to work through and learn from conflict together.

  • Effective processes for communicating, making decisions, and getting things done.

Justice At Work is an online training that offers the chance to learn about the historical roots of oppression and make individual and collective commitments to social justice. It takes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) to the next level. We are excited and proud to embark on this course as a community and look forward to the learning that will help us build more justice-based practices in our organizations.

Course commitment is approximately 4 hours of online self-paced learning in three modules.

The Debrief Sessions have ended up but enrollment will remain open until June 16th, 2023!
